Vacaciones en Mahdia (Túnez): la Playa

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

We had a beach a few seconds walking from the hotel, with hammocks and umbrellas. Here you have some pics of (and in) it!

Naranjas, lilas, amarillos, azules...

Moreover, one day we woke up at 5 in the morning to see the dawn over the beach from the terrace. It was breath-taking.. it's amazing all the variety of colours that appear in the horizon. Orange, purple, yellow, blue...

My question today: which beach has been the most amazing one you've ever been to?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

As you many know, last week I went on holiday to Mahdia, in Tunisia. Both my boyfriend and I needed relax, so we searched for a All-inclusive in a nice hotel in front of the beach: Iberostar Royal el Mansour was our choice.

Five stars and with an architecture and instalations as gorgeous as the pictures show in their webpage. I'm gonna show you the hotel, beginning by the magnificient hall.

After crossing the arched entrance and the glass door, you find an enormous hall, so so high!, with a worked wooded ceiling and beautiful bronze lamps.

The corridors were also amazing, with arches and columns. By the way, in this hotel was more common to find English, Russian and German people. Spanish people usually go to Hamment instead of Mahdia. We were the exception!

And now the dining room. Really big, with tables indoor and outdoor, woden details in ceilings and a pretty variety of food. Some of it, cooked in front of you, as for example the italian cook or the crêpes in the breakfast.

Moreover, there were to differents pubs to drink or cocktails, or coffe&tea.

Now, room. It's just as cute as the Internet images showed. Spacious, with nice decoration, a big bed, a desk, tv, terrace with views towards the sea and the city, bathroom with bathtub and WC aside.

And at last... the most beautiful and impressive part of the hotel. The swimming-pool. Or, better to say, the pools. There are three outdoor (together) and another more indoor. A big grass area, two bars to ask as many times you want to (one of them with drinks and the other called the Snack Bar), sea views and a little path directly to the beach, in a few seconds! It was so, so beautiful...
